Plan charges
Flexible: $0 monthly platform fee and 25% of each confirmed booking, all-in, including payment processing.
Access: $199 monthly platform fee and 10% of each confirmed booking, plus standard payment processing.
Alliance: A monthly platform fee beginning at $499, based on monthly booking volume, with 0% Journey transaction fees plus standard payment processing.
Yearly billing
Access and Alliance platform fees receive a 25% discount when prepaid yearly. The discount applies to the platform fee only. Per-booking charges, processing, included booking volume, and overage rules remain unchanged.
Alliance booking-volume allowance
Each Alliance subscription price covers all Journey-processed bookings—distributed and direct—through the monthly volume cap displayed when the provider enrolls. Journey reviews the trailing three-month average booking volume to determine the applicable band.
The self-serve schedule begins at $499 per month through $15,000 in monthly bookings, reaches $9,999 per month through $500,000, and increases by $500 for each $25,000 band above $40,000. Monthly booking volume above $500,000 requires a custom agreement.
Overage and band adjustment
If actual monthly booking volume exceeds the selected band allowance, Journey may charge a 2% overage on booking volume above the allowance until the subscription is moved to the applicable band. Journey may adjust the recurring Alliance price after reviewing the trailing three-month average and will provide notice of the change. Booking-volume estimates supplied during enrollment must be reasonable and complete.
Payment processing and taxes
Access and Alliance pass through standard payment processing, currently typically 2.9% + $0.30 for a successful US domestic-card transaction, with zero Journey markup. Rates can differ by card, currency, payment method, or processor rule. Flexible includes payment processing in its 25% all-in rate.
Applicable taxes on provider subscription charges may be added where required. Journey-powered guest checkout can calculate, collect, and report transaction taxes based on the configured product, provider, and jurisdiction; providers remain responsible for supplying accurate tax information and meeting obligations assigned to them by law or agreement.
Guest concierge fee
Bookings made through Journey Experiences distribution — our partner hotels, residences, and concierge — may include a concierge fee of up to 20%, paid by the guest, which supports the Journey concierge team and is shared with the property partner facilitating the stay. Bookings made directly through your own Journey-powered booking channel carry a 5% guest concierge fee on Access and Alliance plans. Guest fees are always displayed in the guest's all-in price before checkout.
Curation deposit and trial
The standard application includes a one-time $29 curation deposit, returned in full as account credit after approval unless waived by Journey. Access and Alliance include a 14-day software trial. A listing does not go live during the trial or before curation approval.
Changes, cancellation, and controlling agreement
There are no long-term contracts under the public plans. Providers may request to switch or cancel monthly, subject to charges already incurred and any active booking obligations. These pricing terms supplement the Journey Experiences Provider Agreement; the executed provider agreement controls if there is a conflict.
